The review process has been completed on the 15 April 2017. The results have been sent to the authors by email on the 21 April 2017.
How do I register for the 2017 Lund Conference?
Registration is required for all participants, and the number of participants is limited. Registration is now open, see Registration
Is financial support available?
No. We are working with partner organizations to raise funds for financial support to early-career participants and participants from developing countries. We expect limited funds to become available and eligible participants will be contacted individually.

Is a reduced registration fee available?
There will be a reduced registration fee for students and participants from developing countries, as well as for representatives of co-hosting institutions.
Students (graduate and PhD) must supply by email (isabell.burian@lucsus.lu.se) a document, such as a student ID or letter of supervisor/university, stating that the student is currently enrolled at a college or university.
The country of residence in a low, lower-middle, or upper-middle income economy according to World Bank classification 2016 is determining eligibility for the developing country rate. Note: eligibility thus is based on country of residence, not on citizenship.
Can I attend the conference for just one day?
The 2017 Lund Conference does not have a special day-rate. You are welcome to attend for just one day; however, the full registration fee will still apply. Different arrangements can be made with Lund based organisations.
Can I get my registration fee reimbursed in case of cancellation?
In case of cancellation of participation before 1 September 2017, we will repay the registration fee with a deduction of 30% for banking and administrative costs. After 1 September 2017, the registration fee is non-refundable.
Will accommodation be provided?
No. Accommodation will not be provided is not included in the registration fee. All participants need to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.

Where to stay in Lund/Malmö?
We have blocked rooms at hotels in Lund (7) and Malmö (2).
The conference participant/hotel guest will make their own booking and ensure payment with their credit card. Make sure to always quote the booking code when booking a room via the conference to take part of any reduced prices.

From Copenhagen Airport – Kastrup
There is a direct train connection from Copenhagen Airport to Lund. It takes about 35 minutes. The journey takes you over the Öresund Bridge connecting Denmark to Sweden and via Malmö central station where you may need to change trains.
Train tickets can be purchased from the Skånetrafiken or DSB ticket machines in the arrivals hall at Copenhagen Airport. You can pay using a debit/credit card, and if you buy a ticket all the way to Lund, the ticket will be valid even if you need to change trains at Malmö central station.
Please note that there is a passport control on the train platform at Copenhagen Airport, when taking the train over to Sweden.
From Malmö Airport – Sturup
There are bus connections offered by Flygbuss between Malmö Airport and Lund. One trip takes approximately 35 minutes. You can also get a taxi to Lund which takes about 25 minutes.
How do I get to the conference venue by train?
Lund is located on the main railway line from Malmö to several different destinations such as Berlin, Olso, Stockholm and Gothenburg. It takes approximately 10 minutes to travel between Malmö and Lund by local trains – schedules for both types can be found on Skånetrafiken’s website. Tickets are available from the ticket machines on the platform.
The conference venues will be at Lundagård and LUCSUS.
How to travel within Lund?
Getting around Lund is fairly easy as the city is small and you can go most places by foot.
Public transport: The regional public transport system is run by Skanetrafiken. For public transport within the city you can use the green city buses and trains to Malmö and Copenhagen run frequently.
Bike: Lund has a bikesharing system called “Lundahoj” with bike stations placed around the city. A seasonal card valid for one year costs 75 SEK.

Are there guidelines for the presentation?
Depending on the final number of presentations in the panel, each presenter will have 15-20 minutes for presentation and 5-10 minutes for questions and answers. It is up to the presenter whether or not to prepare a Power Point presentation. The format for Innovative Sessions will be determined by the session organizers.
Are there guidelines for full papers?
Given that this is an interdisciplinary and international conference, participants are encouraged to draw on their own disciplinary or local norms and standards for paper length and format. However, recommended maximum length is 8 000 words. The scientific quality of your paper is most important. Please note that the deadline for submission of full papers is 20 September 2017. How do I know what day and time I will present?
The programme is available here. Please note that the exact time-slot for your presentation may change up to the start of the conference as we aim at coherent panels and will have to adjust to withdrawals and other changes.
Is there a conference schedule available?

Where are the conference venues?
The 2017 Lund Conference on Earth System Governance will be held at venues across Lund
University: (1) the Universitetshuset, (2) Palaestra et Odeum, (3) AF-Borgen, (4) Pufendorfinstitutet, (5) Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies (LUCSUS) and (6) Josephson. The campus is part of Lund city centre and within walking distance to the train station. Click on the map for directions.
